Our step-by-step process in bringing your development project to life.
From your initial customer consultation through to guaranteed customer satisfaction, we’ve broken down what you can expect when you choose to work with us. Read on to learn about the steps we take to bring your development to life.
Customer Consultation
Our team takes the time to fully understand what it is you’re looking to achieve and offer advice on how best to get to your desired outcome.
Your initial consultation will also give you an idea of how your project cost fits with the budget you have in mind. We’ll either provide you with a cost estimate based on concept drawings from your architect or base the estimate on the specifications you have outlined for your project.
Architects
If you require an architect for your project, we can connect you with one of our trusted architects – each with expertise in different project types.
If you’re already working with an architect, we will contact them so we are able to coordinate directly on your project.
Planning Application
We will support you with submitting plans to your local planning department or your architect will submit plans on your behalf. Gaining planning permission allows you to ensure the design is agreed upon by the authorities before we commence construction.
Material Selection
If you’re not using an architect for your project, we will work with you to offer guidance on the type of materials and finishes that are appropriate for your project.
Site Survey & Quote
On confirmation of planning approval, if required, our team will conduct a final site visit to factor in any potential changes. When the design is agreed on and the last site visit has taken place, we will provide you with a complete quote.
Start Date
On receipt of confirmation that you’re happy for works to proceed, we will schedule your project and confirm the start date.
Build Commences
On-site work commences on your project. We always do our best to make sure you are as comfortable as possible in your home as the work is being carried out. We communicate with you weekly so you are kept informed on progress, timings and when payments are due.
Completion & Handover
Our team will arrange a full sign off on the completion of your project including a handover of relevant paperwork, warranty certificates, gas and electrical safety certificate, guarantees and building control certification.
Customer Guarantee
We provide a customer satisfaction guarantee on quality craftsmanship for up to 10 years. If there is something you’re not entirely satisfied with, we’ll return and fix any issues should they arise – no questions asked.
